"Howdy, I saw the note on your reblog of my latest DoD Hater guide, in which you said it was really a case of pot-kettle-black and suggested I should make one for those who break threads. Yup, prompt breaking's lame, and I just would like to suggest that you re-read the last paragraph of the guide, where I specifically said that's what the next one is about: "Tune in next time when we'll see how to deal with people who ignore the prompt. And yes, my fellow Homestuck fans, this goes for you too.""

Ugh, completely missed it. Sorry, it was too hot yesterday to reason properly! I’ll edit it.

Glad to know it’s coming - I hope you didn’t get me wrong, I actually enjoyed your guide because it’s too damn true. And also cute. But still, after playing for a while on DoD, I found 1 bad Homestuck-hater and 94865854932990 bad fans… It kind of ignited me to spontaneous combustion.

PS: Please note, none of the drawings in THIS guide are done on DoD. I didn’t want to spam up DoD with irrelevant requests to make this.

You should make one for Homestuck fans who deliberately break the chains. If people on DoD are so fed up with the fandom is because… Well, it’s a little bit crazy in there. Especially with people “roleplaying” uu - you get a prompt that’s like “apple” and receive shitty lines or whatever the Homestuck fan wants to draw. And please note, I do like the fandom and I enjoy the sporadic reference here and there in my chains. But this… this is the pot and the kettle thing. Really.

It’s actually coming! And I missed it completely. I’ll go waiting for it in the little Box of Shame over there~

Dear Homestuck fans on Doodle or Die…

…If you’re asking who’s reporting all your chain-breakers doodles, it’s me.

Don’t get me wrong, I love the stuff. And from time to time some great artist comes up and respect the chain and draws some Homestuck fanart. That’s good.

But if you think that turning everything into a shitty Homestuck doodle makes you

- A better person
- A better fan
- A very cool guy
- A funny person

You’re… miles from the truth. Your art is shitty, not funny, ruins the game for those who actually enjoy it and casts that dark, ominous shadow of stupidity on the whole fanbase. Well done!

You should feel bad.
